Children in years 1 to 5 will be returning to schools on Monday June first.

The Slovakian government has issued detailed health and safety guidance which will need to be closely followed by schools as they reopen their doors. Jana Zbortekova, a head teacher from a school in Central Slovakia, said these rules are confusing because they are changing day by day.

It will be voluntary for parents to send their children back to school, but the intention is to help parents return to their work places or to ease the stress while they are working from home.
